If you're interested in becoming a GameMaster for ACNW 2010, please fill out
this form once for each game that you'd like to run and send it
off to us. You should receive confirmation within 48 hours. If for some reason
you do not receive a confirmation, please contact Amber [ changeling
(at) hevanet.com ].
Deadline for game submissions is August 28th.
Teen Friendly
Because of the increasing number of teens attending the con with their parents, we have added a new field to the form asking if the game is "Teen Friendly." By saying "Yes" you assert that (a) you don't mind having a younger player in your group and (b) the game is unlikely to have content that would earn it the equivalent of an "R" rating. We realize that not everyone wants to GM for younger players, but we appreciate those who do.
Non-Amber Games
We encourage people to be creative with the diceless format. If you have
a game that uses a form of the basic Amber DRPG rules but is not set in Amber,
you are welcome to post the game. Remember, however, that most people attending
the convention want at least a majority of their games to be set in the Amber
multiverse. Unlike a regular Amber game, if a non-Amber game does not completely
fill we cannot freely assign people to it to complete the schedule since we
cannot assume a basic familiarity and interest in the setting.
Continuing Campaigns
If you are running a game that is a continuing campaign, please plan
to run the game in the same slot (or one of the same slots) that it ran in last
year. This way people participating in more than one continuing game do not
have to drop out of one to fit the schedule changes of another. Please consider
ways in which new players can be brought into your game smoothly. It is very
rare that enough "veteran" players sign up for a game to run without
new players.
Schedule
Not all slots are equal. Some are as short as four hours, others are as
long as seven hours. Please keep the length of the slots in mind when choosing
a preferred game slot. If your game must run on Friday but is longer than
a short slot, you may request that the game run over two or even three slots.
Saturday and Sunday offer longer slots. The schedule is as follows:
